Customer Reviews :

Many comments on the Web have rated this phone is quite low (eg Engadget) I think it’s very unfair, because they are comparing the features of this phone to other high-end phones Smart as the iPhone, or Nexus One Droid. If you approach this phone is not designed to compete directly with the latest Android, iPhone or BlackBerry phones, you will notice that the Nokia Nuron affordable and fits perfectly between your calling and basic phone and text only high-end phones above. There is much to love -

In the first prize. The main attraction of the Nuron it is much cheaper to contract out services or other smartphones. T-Mobile $ 69.99 or $ 179.99, and even better if you buy on Amazon, where the phone is only 1 percent. Contrary to your Blackberry, Android or Windows Mobile data plans run you $ 30, the Nuron is able to take advantage of the plan web2go $ 10. Not only this low entry cost, but also a lower total cost of ownership. Over a 2 year contract, which represents a saving of U.S. $ 240 which is large enough for a phone that reflects much of the same opportunities as other options.

All the features of a smartphone are here, including Internet access and Web browsing property (including the ability to run Flash), e-mail, 3G connectivity, integrated GPS for free, and a number of applications available for free or purchase of Nokia and other online sites. After using the phone for a few days for a casual user who does not need constant email and web access or a touch screen on a giant screen, the great Nokia and meet all these elements worked well as I expected.

There are some minor drawbacks to this phone. On the one hand, the cheap cost of a best camera and no WiFi. The camera is disappointing, because the Nokia 5800 series, a 3.2 MP camera with flash, while the 5230/Nuron only has a 2 MP camera and no flash. For those who hope for something better to take pictures, it does not replace your point and click a digital camera. The lack of Wi-Fi is not that much to me because I do not really need regular access to data and I live in an area where 3G is available easily. I have no complaints, but for those who want to sit in a cafe and a wireless connection as they relax, it could be a problem.

Other minor features are probably due to the relatively old OS that runs Nuron. Symbian S60 V5 is quite old and has seen many revisions as it adapted to the touchscreen, which means it is not as sensitive as the embedded operating system from the outset as the iPhone or Android. Yet I had no problems using the touch screen, and it felt very responsive and call or SMS, was correct. I have a few quirks with the little accelerometer tilting the phone in landscape mode, but the complaints I saw online with capacitive touch screen resistive relative is not really clear to me. I was able to navigate easily to the phone, given interviews and sent texts with very few errors due to the touch.

Overall, of course, an iPhone or a Nexus, a user would not be returning to something like that, but for someone looking for a cheap phone for a few basic Internet access, GPS and maps direction, and control e-mail or instant messaging, this phone meets the need and low cost. I really can not complain, especially given the large savings in data plans only.
