Faced with the rise of mobile OS, LG continues to develop its own operating system, despite attempts smartphone that ad. At first glance, the LG Mini (aka GD 880) wants to seduce the aesthetes alliance with velvety black plastic and shiny metal. A flawless finish for a mobile to false airs iPhone HD.
Despite its extreme compactness (102×47.6×10.6 mm), it embeds a beautiful 3.2 inch screen with high resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. In the absence of push button, it has a slab with a high sensitivity capacitive typed.

LG has developed some widgets to go directly to their Facebook account and Twitter. 3G or HSDPA, WiFi see, surfing is fast and relatively easy thanks to the tabs. The Korean giant makes up the integration of service 3 Way Sync. It aims to synchronize your data between your PC, your webspace (LG) and your phone. To do this, you must register on http://www.lgairsync.com then install PC Suite on your PC. Your PIM (calendar, phone book, tasks) but also photos, videos, email will then be at your 3-day spaces after each change.
So plan an unlimited package. In addition, a mail client (in addition to Google services) is available and has received a push. Unfortunately, it does not support the HTML formatting, your emails will be unreadable if they have pictures.
To complete, LG builds on the multimedia features an FM radio with RDS, some games (including one set of original sin) and the integration of a camera with a 5 megapixel sensor. The pictures are better than average, but far from a simple NPC compete. In video, the Mini is doing well with a resolution ranging from QCIF (176×144 pixels) and VGA (640×480 pixels). The interface is pleasing contrast with a virtual dial in the style of the old Leica.
The Mini is pretty full even if it is not strictly speaking a smartphone. Its functions (including service 3 Air Sync) and its elegant look it provide a great success with a young audience.
