We have appreciated the opportunity to create applications folder to group by subject and the arrival of the autofocus on the videos. The digital zoom on the camera may be of some service, but in most cases, it degrades a bit more quality shots already uncertain.

iPhone OS 4.0 is also better management of resources which gives more speed to the iPhone or iPod Touch and a self-revised slightly upward. If this is simply a beta version for developers, the OS seems pretty stable to us.

A pretty good first impression should be confirmed at the official availability of iPhone OS 4.0 this summer for iPhone 3G, 3G, iPod Touch 2G, 3G and this fall iPad. Note that the iPhone 3G and iPod 2G will be deprived of multitasking because of a hardware configuration too light.

An ambitious economic model

In addition to improvements in software, it may be the presentation of interactive advertising, IADs, which made the loudest noise. The economic model on free applications has already packed and exciting creative advertising agencies.

Apple takes care of the advertiser and deployment, the developer only has to collect 40% of revenue from the ads (60% for Apple).
