Customer Reviews :

I looked at the droid for some time, and so when I received a notification Send me leave, I headed to the Verizon store on launch day. All employees wore a shirt that said, “droid does, and there was one small but significant mass in the right corner near the entrance. I saw a booth where redneck is look at the angular, glossy black phone. Left on same screen set-up, there was a single, small, sleek good touchscreen phone I do not know. always willing to take my turn with the droid, I decided to play with the other every time.

It was not long at all before I realized that the unannounced UN hyped Droid Eris much higher.

Let me start by comparing the Motorola Droid (R) (Motorola A855 droid Phone (Verizon Wireless)). The MD has hard edges, corners, and a box shape hostile. It features a slide-out keyboard thin, the keys have little tactile feedback, and the lines are not compensated as a real keyboard. This sliding panel is a D-pad, which is almost totally unnecessary, given the touch screen. The phone offers a set of smooth and glossy finish, making it really sensitive to scratches and fingerprints. The specifications are slightly better, with a faster processor and a high resolution screen ever. The camera has a flash.

The Droid Eris (DE) on the other hand, is quite small, and rounded edges (like the iPhone.) It only uses the on-screen keyboard that is not the best of all input methods, but most problems avoided by the correction function at hand. Moreover, as the iPhone, you can at the side of the keyboard, making the problem hitting the wrong button, way to go see. The SR is a trackball, a bit like the BlackBerry Pearl (BlackBerry 8130 Pearl Phone, Pink (Verizon Wireless),) and everything is almost never in the game is much better and has less of a primitive feeling that d-pad doctors. You can also view it for notifications. The phone has a smooth and silky soft rubber coating on the back. This combined with rounded corners, it is much easier to take. Specifications are not on the brand with the MD, but so far I have not encountered serious problems with the speed. And while it would be nice to the higher resolution screen, it does the job very well.

Both run on the Verizon network, which, from what I heard, is the best. using Google’s Android OS, it is fantastic and great adaptability. Although the MD uses a newer version, will soon support.

They are the only problems I ran into the Eris.

> The battery life is not that great, especially if you are constantly surfing the internet and all that, if I did the first few days. It was never released to me, but even once when I was not responsible for two days. But I suggest you load every night.
> The cracks at the edges of the screen seem small plots, etc. crumbs to go, that the beauty of removing the phone, and it is difficult for them to get out.
> Music is not the best. Especially considering the life of the battery. Keep your iPod.

These are things I like about the phone:

Accelerometers> detect the orientation of the screen.
> Browse the Internet at any time. Furthermore, the pinch zoom browser.
> Electrostatics (electricity finger detection) touch screen much better than the pressure-sensitive given the low price of touchscreen phones.
> Somewhere move the icons on the screen. Do what you think of the main and sub-screens and want nothing.
Camera> quality. With the highest settings, the image quality is too high to send an MMS message. No flash, but good. I have not had this phone for the camera.
> Hundreds of free apps in the store (which can be freely made by all) to keep me entertained forever.
> My screen still has no scratches, despite a fall in and out of my pocket this countless times since my release day.
> Although the port is different, a mini-USB standard will be adjusted. That means it is easy for a rope used to it, if you lose the one provided.

There are probably more, but why do not you find yourself? Buy. You will not be disappointed.
