With the Acer Stream, the Taiwanese manufacturer intends to fully find its place between the Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Desire on nearby features and a more attractive price. The titanium of the Stream look contrasts with the plastic look of the Liquid. Acer appears to be inspired by HTC devices.
The back of the Acer Stream is coated with a velvety plastic of the most beautiful effect. Even extinguished, this smartphone presents an uncommon elegance on the other motives of making Asian. Its dimensions are slightly more massive than an iPhone 4.
This first impression is confirmed by turning on the Acer Stream. The beautiful 3.7-inch AMOLED screen (5 mm more than an iPhone 4) poster of the millions of colours with a high resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The consultation of the web pages (in 3 G + or WiFi) is therefore very comfortable. With the front last milling of the bone mobile Google (2.1 aka Android Lightning), this smartphone provides better ergonomics for the user, without slowdowns with the SnapDragon processor, exciting at 1 GHz and backed up by 512 MB of RAM.

Moreover, the similarity with a HTC Desire with the same processor and screen diagonal is not fortuitous… The Stream is noted for its price and its generous memory internal 2 GB. The user will have possibility to extend it with a MicroSD memory card but it unfortunately removed the battery…
This last of 1400mh seemed a priori slight for a smartphone but this Acer is still 3 days, moderate use. To reload it, simply connect its cable to an outlet or a port USB of PC microUSB.
Acer Stream: HDMI and multimedia

One regret especially the absence of a flash…
If with HDMI, viewing on flat screen transmission causes no loss of audio or video notes sometimes few saccades. The video player (Nemo) is however very full and supports codecs MP4/Xvid/WMV/H.264/H.263 in HD 720 p.Video compatibility brings the reference in this field, the Samsung Galaxy S.
The Dolby Mobile technology introduced in this mobile offers a striking sound relief, that is I shoe its listeners. You can also put your headphones on its 3.5 mm jack socket to listen to the FM radio.

Aside from these buttons and the home, the other keys are tactile and capacitive slab supports the multi-touch. For launch, the Acer Stream is distributed exclusively at Virgin Mobile.
The Acer Stream is a good phone and a smartphone gifted for multimedia, which will make the shadow to the Samsung Galaxy S and Apple iPhone 4, sold much more expensive for almost similar benefits.
